Raw Messmate honey

Messmate honey is richly flavoured and wonderfully sweet.
Its great taste makes it ideal to eat straight from the jar, or to add flavour to baked treat like cakes, cookies and biscuits.
Its hard to beat the wonderful smell in the kitchen when a cake made with this honey is baking in the oven.
With its delicious flavour and pronounced sweetness this is also a great honey for cooking in stir fries and Asian inspired dishes
Its called Messmate honey because the bees collected their nectar for this honey from Messmate (i.e. eucalyptus obliqua) trees growing in the Toolangi Black Range  state forest in central Victoria.
Extracted cold, without any heating or processing this honey is absolutely raw. So it still contains lots of pollen, wax and other natural components that are normally filtered out in supermarket honey.
This means the honey retains all the goodness, flavour and vitality the bees originally made it with. 
Available in either 500gms or 1kg jars the honey is bottled in a recyclable glass jar with a metal screw on lid.
