Stringybark honey is well-known to Australians as a stronger flavoured, sweet honey with a typically darker colouring and rich thick texture. The flavour is bold, warm and toffee-like.

This particular honey comes from the nectar of flowering stringybarks (Eucalyptus Macrorhyncha) growing in the Strathbogie state forest of north eastern Victoria.

So this is a genuine wild, forest honey, totally pure and natural without any man-made chemicals or taint.
