I love my Tasmanian leatherwood honeys, asnd especially those produced by the Tasmanian Honey Company.
Not only do they have all the wonderful taste, flavour and aroma of this tunique honey, but they are produced in a delicious candied style.
Its sort of like creamed honey but softer and more easily spread. The company says that in the US they call it 'Fancy Grade'.
I also love the graphic designs of their jars and tins.
And I'm not alone in loving their work. So too does SBS television. They recently ran the following short item on the company and its found - Julian Wofhagen. Its well worth a look.
